REV promotes Sarah Bonnette to vice president of Human Resources and Talent

Local, Louisiana-based communications provider’s experienced people leader will support 350+ Louisiana-based employees during broadband company’s multi-parish growth

Gonzales, La.  REV recently announced Sarah Bonnette as its new vice president of Human Resources and Talent. With over 20 years of human resources experience in often-technology-persistent industries, Bonnette’s understanding of the need to remain focused on people in the fast-paced face of automation, AI and over-digitalization remains a central and directing tenet.

A key contributor and leader during EATEL’s and Vision Communications’ merger with RTC to align and rebrand as REV, Bonnette’s emphasis on employee relations, team development and ensuring people-centric cultures (during a time of substantial change) has consecutively earned REV a “Best Places to Work” honor the past three years.

“Sarah’s exceptional leadership and communication skills resonate deeply with our team,” remarked Josh Descant, CEO of REV. “Her commitment aligns perfectly with our core value of enhancing the employee experience, evidenced by her innovative contributions to our benefits and leadership programs.”

“In all Sarah does – from employee relations, people development, and strategic projects – the ‘people’ focus shines through,” said Janet Britton, REV’s general counsel and EVP of Human Resources and Talent. “Sarah’s leadership and the combined efforts of the talented HR team are seen at REV daily in the things that mean the most to our employees, demonstrated by critical HR metrics and indicators such as benefits package satisfaction and the organization’s consistently high employee net promoter score (eNPS).”

Prior to joining REV (then-EATEL) in 2015, Bonnette spent 12 years as an HR leader – locally, regionally, and nationally – with Amedisys, developing and executing strategic plans and priorities during the home health care provider’s various mergers and acquisitions.

In her new role as vice president of Human Resources and Talent, Bonnette’s responsibilities will include identifying, developing, and implementing best-in-class strategies to ensure REV’s current and future leaders, teams and talent are appropriately trained and resourced as the broadband company expands its fiber footprint throughout South Louisiana.

About REVEstablished in 2020 – with the merging of three local and storied telecom providers – and rebranded in 2022, REV is the combined parent company of Reserve Telephone Company (RTC), EATEL/EATEL Business and Vision Communications. The combined company, with nearly 250 years of collective communications service, operates as Louisiana’s largest, locally owned, telecommunications network.
