Meet the team
Chief Executive Officer
Josh Descant is CEO of REV, Louisiana’s largest locally owned broadband provider, and has been with the company for 19 years serving in multiple roles. Currently, Descant serves on the President’s National Infrastructure Advisory Council (NIAC), which advises the White House on the reduction of risks to the security and resiliency of the nation’s critical infrastructure.
Additionally, he serves on the board of directors of USTelecom – a national broadband association – and is a board member of the Ascension Chamber of Commerce, as well as a member of The Committee of 100 for Economic Development, Inc. (C100).
Descant was born and raised in New Orleans, and now lives in Covington, La. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Southern Mississippi, and is proud to have previously served in the United States Marine Corps.
CPA – Chief Financial Officer
Peter Louviere serves as the chief financial officer and corporate treasurer for REV. He is responsible for the company’s financial stewardship on behalf of its 60,000 customers and growing. He directs financial and treasury duties, along with economic strategy and forecasting. His guidance – and the work of his team – ensures precision and timely financial reporting, investment risk management and economic modeling. In addition, Louviere oversees the company’s health and welfare plans, its 401(k) investments and is the executive sponsor to its cyber security committee and safety council.
Louviere joined the company (then Latelco) in 1993, with a strong background in financial leadership as well as extensive familiarity leading and executing numerous transactions associated with mergers and acquisitions. He is instrumental in establishing financing structures including private equity firms, investment bankers and syndicated banking groups. His wealth of experience goes beyond the internal finances of an ever-evolving tech industry.
Most recently, Louviere was responsible in facilitating a smooth consolidation of the acquisition into what is presently the largest, privately held telecommunications company in Louisiana (REV). His M&A-related financial insights have also simultaneously yielded improved profitability via operational efficiencies, recognized synergies across dimensional aspects of the business and effective forecasting.
In addition to his internal leadership role at the company, Louviere is actively involved in a multitude of telecommunications industry-specific groups, committees and associations – serving as a 20+ year member of the board of directors for the Louisiana Telecommunications Association (LTA). Further, Louviere dedicates his time to many community organizations’ boards, including serving as president and chairman of Lafourche Parish’s Special Education District No. 1 for the past 24 years in addition to tenured terms on the South Louisiana Economic Council (SLEC), Thibodaux Chamber of Commerce, Lady of the Sea Hospital Board of Commissioners, and the Golden Meadow Lions Club.
Louviere holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Nicholls State University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He also is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Louisiana Society of CPAs.
General Counsel
Janet Britton is responsible for providing strategic leadership and business acumen and guiding REV through a myriad of complex business, legal and regulatory issues. Janet has been in the telecommunications sector for over 30 years and with REV for 27 of those years. Prior to joining REV, she was a staff attorney with the Louisiana Public Service Commission. Janet is past chairman of the Louisiana Telecommunications Association (LTA) and is currently a board member. She was appointed to serve on the Broadband for Everyone in Louisiana Commission and the Louisiana Information Technology & Communications Resiliency Task Force by former Governor John Bel Edwards. She is also a former board member of NTCA, OPASTCO and the Ascension Chamber of Commerce. She previously served as the Chairman of the East Ascension East Iberville School Partnership. Janet currently serves on the NTCA Industry Committee and WTA Public Policy Committee. She is also a member of the Ascension Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors, City of Gonzales Marketing Team and is a member of the local Industrial Development Board of Directors. She currently sits on the Baton Rouge Area Chamber Board of Directors. Janet was recognized by the Baton Rouge Business Report as a Forty under 40 honoree and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Juris Doctorate and a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University.Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Harris drives the organization’s operational excellence and innovation strategy by helping to blend technology and efficiency into existing programs as well as new business opportunities. Harris has been with the company for over 20 years and has held several management positions including: Director of Network Services, Manager of Network Engineering, NOC Manager, and Manager of Customer Support.
Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Tressy Leindecker serves as REV’s Executive Vice President of Sales. As a sales leader with more than 20 years of management experience, she has led teams in several telecommunications organizations — with a focus in cable, data, transport and telephony. Tressy has been responsible for the successful transformation of sales organizations, drastically increasing monthly performance and overall team bench strength. Tressy holds a bachelor of arts degree and often volunteers her time to give back to the communities she serves.
