REV recently awarded scholarships to 12 high school seniors across its South Louisiana service area, eclipsing a milestone of more than $1 million invested in student scholarships since the program’s beginnings in South Lafourche more than 40 years ago.

What began more than four decades ago in Lafourche Parish and Grand Isle has grown alongside REV’s expanding footprint. Today, the program supports students across multiple South Louisiana communities, reflecting the company’s continued investment in education and local growth.

Over the past 42 years, 269 graduating seniors have received REV scholarships, with recipients selected based on academic performance, ACT scores, financial need, leadership, and community involvement. Applicants also complete an essay and participate in an interview process led by a selection committee comprised of employees from across the organization.
