EATEL’s Game of the Week Series Goes Real-Time and with Live Chat

ETL The taligate showGonzales, La. – With quarantine rules still in effect, Friday night football looks a little different this year as schools across Louisiana prepare for reduced stadium capacity. Following on the success of EATEL’s livestreaming of high school graduations across Ascension Parish where more than 30,000 viewers tuned in on YouTube, the company is launching a new format for its ‘Game of the Week’ series – LIVE. The livestream will feature added dimensions including real-time chat to put fans in the heart of the action and a tailgate show featuring interviews with coaches, principals, local business and community leaders and more.

“High school football is an integral part of our community,” explains Tressy Leindecker, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at EATEL. “While not everyone will be able to attend the games this year, we wanted to make sure we’re recreating as much of the experience as possible. With the tailgate show we’re bringing action packed features and a behind-the-scenes look into the communities we serve – inside information you won’t find anywhere else. This is in addition to a moderated live chat during the game where fans can connect with one another and cheer on their home team. You may not be able to be at the game, but you can still feel like you were.”

EATEL will stream one game every Friday night. The tailgate show will air on the company’s Facebook page and the game will be streamed on its YouTube channel, scheduled as follows:
